Houston St. Pius X grad Guidry plays in San Diego loss
Houston native Trey Guidry contributed three points to the University of San Diego's 81-50 loss to conference rival Gonzaga University on Saturday, Feb. 23 in Spokane, Wash., the University of San Diego's website reported.
The freshman forward also recorded one rebound and one steal for the Toreros, who are 13-16 on the season and 6-8 in the West Coast Conference.
The University of San Diego's next game is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at home against the University of San Francisco.
Guidry is a 2012 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where he was honored as an all-state and all-district selection in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
During his senior year, he averaged 22 points and nine rebounds.
The international business major is the son of Calvin and Debra Guidry.
