St. Pius X grad Hunt contributes to Arkansas State victory
Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Jasmine Hunt played for Arkansas State University in its 71-59 win at home over conference rival Troy University on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Murphy Cente in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the Arkansas State website reported.
The sophomore forward recorded one assist and one block on the floor to help the Red Wolves improve to 15-12 on the season and 12-6 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Arkansas State's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at North Texas.
Hunt is a 2011 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was named first team all-district and second team all-state following her senior season. She was also named to the Top 10 Seniors in the Houston Area list and ESPN's Top 100 list. Hunt is from Houston.
