Five Tomball runners complete Rhythm and Blues 5K

Five Tomball athletes completed the Rhythm and Blues 5K on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Houston.

The runners from Tomball and their finishing times were Sharon Sweatt, 47, 36:49; Maryanne Jeter, 49, 40:06; Krissy Adams, 42, 41:19; Silvia Munoz, 26, 48:47; and Albert Munoz, 32, 48:49.

Race organizers said 1,174 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Sam Houston Park.

Stephen Ward was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 17:28, while Rebecca Eggeling was the winner in the women's category with a time of 20:06.
