Tomball grad Diaz plays in Texas Christian loss
Tomball High School graduate Caitlin Diaz played for Texas Christian University in a 76-75 loss at home to conference rival University of Kansas on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, the TCU website reported.
Diaz recorded one block for the Horned Frogs, who are 7-16 on the season and 0-12 in the Big 12 Conference.
Texas Christian's next game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Baylor.
Diaz is a freshman forward for Texas Christian University. She is a 2012 graduate of Tomball High School, where she was also rated as the No. 18 ranked player in Texas according to Premier Basketball Report. Diaz was named to the All-Greater Houston all-star squad. Diaz is from Houston.
