St. Pius X grad Hunt plays in Arkansas State loss
Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Jasmine Hunt played for Arkansas State University in a 54-50 loss at home to conference rival University of Arkansas-Little Rock on Feb. 13 at Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the team's website reported.
Hunt and the Red Wolves are 13-12 on the season and 10-6 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Arkansas State's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Louisiana-Monroe.
Hunt is a sophomore forward for Arkansas State University. She is a 2011 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was named first team all-district and second team all-state following her senior season. She was also named to the Top 10 Seniors in the Houston Area list and ESPN's Top 100 list. Hunt is from Houston.
