Two Tomball runners complete Piney Woods 10-Mile Trail Run
Two Tomball athletes completed the Piney Woods 10-Mile Trail Run on Saturday, Feb. 9 in Houston.
Gene Basham crossed the finish line in 1:24:00, and Tony Castronovo finished in 1:27:16.
Race organizers said 94 runners finished the 10-mile race, which began and ended at Lake Houston Park.
Will Young, of Nacogdoches, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:02:32, while Leighann Ganzar, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:13:54.
