St. Pius X grad Guidry plays in San Diego loss
St. Pius X High School graduate Trey Guidry played for the University of San Diego in a 74-64 home loss against conference rival St. Mary's College of California on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego.
The freshman forward and the Toreros are 13-13 on the season and 6-5 in the West Coast Conference, the University of San Diego's website reported.
The University of San Diego's next game is 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Santa Clara University.
Guidry is a 2012 graduate of St. Pius X High School, where he was honored as an all-state and all-district selection in his sophomore, junior and senior season. During his senior year, Guidry averaged 22 points and nine rebounds. The international business major is from Houston and is the son of Calvin and Debra Guidry.
