St. Pius X grad Levy helps Midwestern State to victory
Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Rhea Levy played for Midwestern State University in a 61-42 win at home over conference rival Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday, Feb. 2 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls, the Midwestern State website reported.
Levy helped the Mustangs improve to 16-3 on the season and 11-2 in the Lone Star Conference.
Midwestern State's next game is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at West Texas A&M University.
Levy is a freshman guard for Midwestern State University. She is a 2012 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was three-time TAPPS all-district selection. Levy also helped the Panthers to a pair of state semifinal showings in 2011 and 2012. She scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds. She also had four steals. The Houston native is the daughter of Terrence and Ardonia Levy.
