Arrest report, Jan. 17-19

The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Thursday, Jan. 17 to Saturday, Jan. 19:

A Tomball man was arrested and charged with possession of a penalty group 3 controlled substance (less than 28 grams) Jan. 17, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 23, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 17 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides on Linda Lane.

A Tomball man is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of assault of a family member after being arrested Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 35, resides on Olin Road. He was booked Jan. 19.

A man was arrested on a charge of theft between $50 and $500 on Jan. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 23-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 18 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. He resides in Louetta.

A man was arrested on a charge of attempted theft of aluminum, bronze, copper or brass Jan. 19, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 38-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 19 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides on Willow Way.

A Tomball man is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of possession of a penalty group 3 controlled substance (less than 28 grams) after being arrested Jan. 19, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 27, resides on Mary Jane Lane. He was booked Jan. 19.
