St. Pius X grad Hunt helps in Arkansas State victory
Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Jasmine Hunt played for Arkansas State University Sunday, Jan. 20, in its 71-58 win at home over conference rival Louisiana at Monroe, at the Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Ark., the team's website reported.
Hunt helped the Red Wolves improve to 9-9 on the season and 6-3 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Arkansas State's next game is 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 on the road against Troy.
Hunt is a sophomore forward for Arkansas State University. She is a 2011 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was named first team all-district and second team all-state following her senior season. She was also named to the Top 10 Seniors in the Houston Area list and ESPN's Top 100 list. Hunt is from Houston.
