A women's basketball player with Tomball high school ties has scheduled action this weekend:
Rhea Levy, Midwestern State University
Position: Guard
High school: Houston St. Pius X High School
This week: Saturday, Jan. 12, versus Tarleton State
About Levy: Levy is a freshman guard for Midwestern State University. She is a 2012 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was three-time TAPPS all-district selection. Levy also helped the Panthers to a pair of state semifinal showings in 2011 and 2012. She scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds. She also had four steals. The Houston native is the daughter of Terrence and Ardonia Levy.
