Tomball runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon

Ten Tomball athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9.

The runners from Tomball and their finishing times were Marc Orduna, 1:47:55; George Brasuell, 2:03:46; Seth Quintana, 2:04:04; Sophie Pearson, 2:12:37; Lydia Prince, 2:24:48; Jenni Quintana, 2:37:59; Shirlene Peel, 2:44:43; Tara Voss, 2:47:25; Ivy Dayter, 2:50:42; and Robert W. Peel, 3:32:21.

According to organizers, 9,878 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended in downtown Dallas.

Andrew Letherby, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:09:45, while Ashley Johnson, of Dallas, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:21:37.
