Tomball grad Diaz plays in Texas Christian loss
Houston native Caitlin Diaz played for Texas Christian in a 59-58 loss against conference rival Kansas State on Saturday, Jan. 5, Texas Christian's website reported.
The freshman forward and the Horned Frogs are 7-6 on the season and 0-2 in the Big 12 Conference.
Texas Christian's next game is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at home against Oklahoma.
Diaz is a 2012 graduate of Tomball High School, where Premier Basketball Report ranked her the No. 18 player in Texas. She also was named to the All-Greater Houston all-star squad.
