Houston St. Pius X grad Levy contributes to Midwestern State victory
Houston native Rhea Levy played for Midwestern State in a 69-59 win against conference rival Angelo State on Saturday, Jan. 5, the school website reported.
The freshman guard helped the Mustangs improve to 9-3 on the season and 4-2 in the Lone Star Conference.
Midwestern State's next game is at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 on the road against Texas A&M-Commerce.
A 2012 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, she was three-time TAPPS all-district selection.
Levy also helped the Panthers to a pair of state semifinal showings in 2011 and 2012, scoring 12 points, grabbing three rebounds and four steals.
She is the daughter of Terrence and Ardonia Levy.
