St. Pius X grad Hunt helps Arkansas State to victory

Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Jasmine Hunt scored four points as her Arkansas State women's basketball team won 77-53 over conference rival Louisiana Saturday, Dec. 22, at Convocation Center in Jonesboro, the Arkansas State website reported.

Arkansas State's next game is 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at South Alabama.

Hunt is a sophomore forward for Arkansas State. She is a 2011 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was named first team all-district and second team all-state following her senior season. She was also named to the Top 10 Seniors in the Houston Area list and ESPN's Top 100 list. Hunt is from Houston.
