Tomball grad Diaz plays in Texas Christian loss
Tomball High School graduate Caitlin Diaz played for Texas Christian University in a 72-59 loss to the visiting University of Georgia Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, the TCU Texas Christian University's website reported.
The freshman forward and the Horned Frogs are 5-4 on the season. TCU's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at home against Texas-Pan American.
Diaz is a freshman forward for Texas Christian University. She is a 2012 graduate of Tomball High School, where she was also rated as the No. 18 ranked player in Texas according to Premier Basketball Report. Diaz was named to the All-Greater Houston all-star squad. Diaz is from Houston.
