Klein Collins High grad Hamilton contributes to Texas Christian University victory
Spring native Veja Hamilton played for Texas Christian University in a 67-60 win at home against Sam Houston State University on Sunday, Dec. 16, according to Texas Christian University's website.
The freshman forward and guard recorded six rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Horned Frogs, who improved to 5-3 on the season.
Texas Christian University's next game is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 at home against Georgia.
Hamilton is a 2012 graduate of Klein Collins High School, where she was a McDonald's All-American nominee.
ESPN/HoopGurlz ranked Hamilton the No. 18 overall rated wing in the country.
A four-star rated combo guard, she was named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-state list in March, scoring 2,228 points.
