Tomball runners complete GE Run Thru the Woods (3-Mile Run)
A total of 28 athletes from Tomball completed the GE Run Thru the Woods (3-Mile Run) on Nov. 22 in The Woodlands.
The runners from Tomball and their finishing times were Erica Clark, 23, 24:24; Barret Halgas, 22, 26:37; Kenneth Noack, 51, 26:53; Bryan McAnally, 25, 26:59; Tyler Marks, 11, 27:31; Wes Marks, 35, 27:32; Peyton Smith, 13, 28:35; Samantha Spoon, 23, 28:35; Gordon Taylor, 39, 28:56; Leighann Taylor, 35, 28:57; Erica Sumner, 18, 29:10; Kristin Shaffer, 27, 29:27; Lauren Crider, 24, 29:50; Bethany Noack, 20, 31:07; Brian Smith, 33, 31:09; Lisa Vanhoff, 39, 32:01; Charlie Nesi, 25, 32:39; Sarah Reynolds, 24, 32:40; Arianna Hayden, 11, 33:22; Grant Sumner, 12, 34:13; Hannah Addcox, 23, 34:18; Jim Addcox, 56, 34:19; Jenny Womble, 29, 35:33; Jim Halgas, 57, 35:45; Sarah Carlson, 37, 37:43; Monalisa Solis, 33, 38:22; Amanda Halgas, 54, 39:04; and Doug Fletcher, 57, 43:27.
According to race organizers, a total of 1,222 runners finished the 3-mile race, which began and ended at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Ronnie Delzer, of Magnolia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 15:54, while Kara Sanstrom, of Cypress, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 19:05.
