Houston St. Pius X grad Hunt helps Arkansas State to victory
Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Jasmine Hunt scored three points in Arkansas State University's 60-57 win over conference opponent Florida International University Thursday, Nov. 29, at U.S. Century Bank Arena in Miami, according to Arkansas State's website.
Hunt also recorded one rebound and a block for the Red Wolves, who won their first game in six outings this season. They are 1-0 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Arkansas State also played Saturday, Dec. 1 at Florida Atlantic.
Hunt is a sophomore forward for Arkansas State. She is a 2011 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, where she was named first team all-district and second team all-state following her senior season. She was also named to the Top 10 Seniors in the Houston Area list and ESPN's Top 100 list. Hunt is from Houston.
