Houston St. Pius X grad plays in University of San Diego loss
Houston St. Pius X High School graduate Trey Guidry contributed in the University of San Diego's 39-57 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 21 in college basketball action.
According to University of San Diego's website, with the loss, the Toreros fall to 3-3 on the season.
The game was played at the Thunderdome in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The University of San Diego's next game is at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 on the road against Montana.
Guidry is a freshman forward for the University of San Diego. He is a 2012 graduate of Houston St. Pius X High School where he was honored as an all-state and all-district selection in his sophomore, junior and senior season. During his senior year, Guidry averaged 22 points and 9 rebounds. The international business major is from Houston and is the son of Calvin and Debra Guidry.
