Graceview Baptist to hold women's Christmas banquet

Graceview Baptist Church will host a women's Christmas banquet at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 with a theme of The Art of Christmas.

Landscape architect Loela Barry will be the event's guest speaker. She owns Jo-Lea Art in Conroe, has a clothing line, illustrated a book and was featured in the Houston Chronicle.  As she speaks, she will create a work of art.

Table centerpieces at the event will be empty baskets. Each woman who attends is asked to bring something to give to a family in need to place in the basket. After the event, the baskets will be donated.

Advance registration is requested by contacting the church. Cost is $12.
