Gas prices in and around Tomball were lower than the averages for Houston and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 28 gas stations in and around Tomball as of Saturday, Nov. 17. The average price of regular unleaded gas in Tomball is $3.11 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.12, the state average at $3.14 and the nationwide average at $3.44.

The least expensive gas in Tomball is reported to be $3.06 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged at Shell, 12010 Spring Cypress Road; Exxon, 11931 Spring Cypress Road; Murphy USA, 22611 Tomball Parkway; and Chevron, 22610 Tomball Parkway.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area at $3.19, at Conoco, 24111 Tomball Parkway; Shell, 28602 Tomball Parkway; and Chevron, 28102 Tomball Parkway.
