St. Pius X grad Guidry plays in San Diego loss
St. Pius X High School graduate Trey Guidry scored three points, but his University of San Diego men's basketball team lost 74-71 at home to California State University, Northridge Thursday Nov. 15 at Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego, according to the university's website.
The freshman forward and the Toreros are 2-1 on the season.
The University of San Diego also played Friday, Nov. 16 at home against Tulsa.
Guidry is a 2012 graduate of St. Pius X, where he was honored as an All-State and All-District selection in his sophomore, junior and senior season. During his senior year, Guidry averaged 22 points and nine rebounds. The international business major is from Houston and is the son of Calvin and Debra Guidry.
