Tomball Regional Medical Center sponsors 5K run benefiting diabetes research
The Tomball Regional Medical Center, in collaboration with the American Diabetes Association, will hold a 5K run and 3K walk benefiting diabetes at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at Northshore Park.
According to a press release, in addition to the run and walk, the event will feature a "kiss the pig" showing, a team T-shirt design contest, free glucose, body mass index and blood pressure testings and the opportunity to speak with Dr. Paul Piper, an endocrinologist at Tomball Regional Medical Center.
Proceeds from the event will support diabetes research and education.
Northshore Park is at 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive.
