Tomball grad Stabell leads Colorado Mines to win
Tomball High School grad Jackie Stabell had six digs Friday Nov. 9, as her Colorado School of Mines rolled to a 3-0 victory over University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in women's college volleyball action.
According to the Colorado School of Mines' website, Stabell, a senior outside hitter, also contributed three blocks and 13 kills in the win, along with a .250 hitting percentage.
The Orediggers won 25-21, 25-23 and 25-12 at Gallogly Events Center in Colorado Springs. Mines is now 23-5 on the season.
Stabell graduated from Tomball High in 2009. She was s three-time all-district selection in high school. The Tomball native is majoring in mechanical engineering.
