Tomball Police Department weekly report, Oct. 14-20

The Tomball Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents Sunday to Thursday, Oct. 14-18:

ARRESTS:

NARCOTICS
Oct. 14, 1:39 p.m.: A 20-year-old man from Tomball was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 700 block of South Oak Street. Officers reported that marijuana was in plain view inside the vehicle.

Oct. 15, 11:48 a.m.: A 24-year-old male from Magnolia and a 19-year-old man from Houston were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana in the 14200 block of FM 2920 after an officer reported finding marijuana in the suspect's pocket and the vehicle.

Oct. 16, 7:40 a.m.: A 31-year-old male from Tomball was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 29200 block of Tomball Expressway. The arresting officer reported discovering marijuana in the suspect's pocket during a search incident.

Oct. 17, 7:29 a.m.: A 27-year-old man from Magnolia was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and driving while license is suspended in the 1400 block of East Main. During a search incident to arrest, the officer reported discovering that the man had outstanding warrants and allegedly found marijuana in the vehicle.

Oct. 17, 10:10 a.m.: A 22-year-old man from Tomball was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in the 900 block of Lawrence. During a search incident to arrest, an officer reported discovering hydrocodone in the suspect's pocket.

DRIVNG WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Oct. 15, 8:15 a.m.: A 29-year-old man from Magnolia was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended in the 14400 block of FM 2920.

THEFT
Oct. 14, 9:25 p.m.: A 51-year old-man from Spring was arrested on a charge of theft in the 14400 Block of Fm 2920. Three tires valued at approximately $20.00 each were allegedly found with the suspect.

OFFENSE REPORTS:

BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Oct 18: An officer responded to a potential burglary of a motor vehicle in the 28900 block of Tomball Parkway where a notebook computer valued at approximately $800, computer accessories valued at $70 and two pairs of sunglasses valued at $150 and $300 were reported stolen.

THEFT
Oct. 18: An officer responded to a theft in the 900 block of South Persimmon, where approximately $3,500 worth of scrap metal was allegedly stolen.

Oct. 18: An officer made contact with a suspicious subject in the 28500 block of Tomball Parkway. The suspect was allegedly in possession of a stolen cell phone valued at approximately $200.
