Tomball to hold tree dedication ceremony

A tree dedication ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Feb. 29 at Juergens Park, 1331 Ulrich in Tomball.

According to a press release, the park has experienced a significant loss of trees because of the severe drought. Through a donation by TXU Energy’s Growing Community Program, 25 new trees are being planted to help replenish the canopy for the park.
