Tomball Suzuki dealership blamed for motorcycle damage
A Tomball Suzuki dealership is being sued over claims it damaged a customer's motorcycle.
Mike Hester filed a lawsuit Feb. 6 in Harris County District Court against Suzuki of Tomball, citing violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and negligence.
Hester claims he entrusted his motorcycle to Suzuki of Tomball for repairs, but instead of repairing it, someone drove and crashed the motorcycle. The accident caused $5,744 worth of damage to the bike, according to the brief.
The suit alleges that when questioned about the damage, an employee lied, stating it had been dropped from a rack.
Hester is seeking damages and attorney's fees, as well as court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Jeff Crawford.
