City of Tomball to show 'Mr. Popper's Penguins'
The family comedy Mr. Popper's Penguins will be shown at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at the depot in Downtown Tomball, 201 S. Elm St.
The screening is part of the city's monthly Second Saturdays festivities, which will also include pony rides and penguin bowling. The Larry Youngblood Band will perform, and concessions stands will sell food.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets for the movie, which stars Jim Carrey as a career-minded New York City resident who ends up caring for a group of penguins in his penthouse apartment. Admission is free.
