Spring clean up to include drought-stricken trees, limbs
The city of Tomball will pick up dead tree limbs and trunks along with bulk waste starting in April for residents who call to schedule curbside pick up.
Tomball's Public Works Department provides year-round curbside brush chipping and branch disposal for routine pruning and tree removal, but the drought has caused a significant increase in tree waste.
The Public Works Department is asking residents with the need for dead tree and limb removal to schedule pick up during spring clean up, April 23 through May 4.
Debris generated by private contractors must be removed by the contractors — not the city — and stacking limbs or debris along a public road or on any property without making arrangements for timely disposal is a violation of city ordinances. Contact the Public Works Department at 281-290-1425 for more information or to schedule brush and limb pick up during spring clean up.
