ADT salesman accuses Tomball resident of biting ear, breaking ribs
An ADT salesman is suing after, he says, a Tomball resident bit off a portion of his ear and broke 10 of his ribs over a security system contract.
Yaqub Bham filed a lawsuit on Monday, Jan. 16 in the Harris County District Court against Tomball resident David Nienberg, citing assault.
Bham says on Dec. 14, 2010, Nienberg lunged at him with a fork and then choked, beat and bit him, only stopping when deputies arrived and used two tasers to pull him off.
According to the brief, the attack, which left Bham with 10 broken ribs and a bite out of his ear, happened at Nienberg’s Tomball residence as Bham quoted a price to him for a home security system.
The suit alleges Neinberg looked at the contract, grabbed Bham’s car keys, lunged at him with a fork and then choked him, beat him and bit him.
Bham is seeking actual and exemplary damages, as well as court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Sammy Ford IV.
