Burroughs Park to hold 'Fishing's Future' camp for families
Fishing's Future is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing children and their parents together through the outdoor experience of fishing.
Fishing's Future will hold a Family Fish Camp on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Burroughs Park.
Fishing's Future is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing children and their parents together through the outdoor experience of fishing. The organization recently opened a chapter in Spring, and Master Angler Henry Burns will direct all events and coordinate community relations.
Camps include learning different fishing techniques, teaching the "Leave No Trace" philosophy and addressing water and outdoor safety practices.
All who are interested must register at www.fishingsfuture.org by Thursday, Dec. 8. The camp is free, but space is limited.
