Harris County restaurant inspections, Sept. 18-24

The Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services Department reported health inspections at the following food establishment during the week of Sept. 18-24:
An inspection took place on Sept. 19 at Sonic (Atascosita), a restaurant located at 6700 Fm 1960 E, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
On Sept. 19, an inspection was performed at the restaurant Whataburger #659 at 7530 Fm 1960 E, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
An inspection took place on Sept. 19 at Harvest Home, a long-term care hospital located at 520 Baker Drive ., Tomball. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
An inspection took place on Sept. 19 at Corner Shell, a convenience store located at 21502 Aldine Westfield No. D, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: handwashing facilities stocked with soap and towels.
On Sept. 19, an inspection was performed at the restaurant Ling's Buffet at 6730 Atascocita Road Suite 100, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: good hygienic practices related to eating, drinking and smoking and precautions against cross-contamination of raw and cooked foods. The establishment's last inspection was on October 18, 2011.
On Sept. 19, an inspection was performed at the restaurant Baskin Robbins at 3809 Atascocita No. 200, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: approved sources and labeling.
Darwin's underwent an inspection on Sept. 19. The establishment is a bar located at 14083 Fm 2920, Tomball. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: an approved water supply source with sufficient capacity, no evidence of insect contamination, no evidence of rodents or other animals, proper labeling, storage and use of toxic items and cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
An inspection took place on Sept. 19 at Grand Garden, a restaurant located at 5324 Atascocitard Suite F, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: precautions against cross-contamination of raw and cooked foods, approved systems (HACCP plans, Time as a Public Health Control), adequate and accessible handwashing facilities and accurate and properly calibrated thermometers.
On Sept. 20, an inspection was performed at the retail establishment with food prep Target #1904 at 14302 Fm 2920, Tomball. The inspector found no violations.
Kroger #390 underwent an inspection on Sept. 20. The establishment is a retail establishment with food prep located at 14060 Fm 2920, Tomball. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
Tomball Bowling Center underwent an inspection on Sept. 20. The establishment is a restaurant located at 14435 Fm 2920, Tomball. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: an approved water supply source with sufficient capacity, proper labeling, storage and use of toxic items and cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food. The establishment's last inspection was on September 21, 2011.
On Sept. 21, an inspection was performed at the restaurant Tomball Bowling Center at 14435 Fm 2920, Tomball. The inspector found no violations.
On Sept. 22, an inspection was performed at the retail establishment with food prep Sam's Club #6367 at 9665 Fm 1960 W. Bypass, Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: handwashing facilities stocked with soap and towels, accurate and properly calibrated thermometers and cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
An inspection took place on Sept. 22 at Panera Bread, a bakery located at 7041 Fm 1960 E., Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: good hygienic practices related to eating, drinking and smoking, handwashing facilities stocked with soap and towels and accurate and properly calibrated thermometers.
An inspection took place on Sept. 22 at Kid Care Academy, a day care center located at 9807 Fm 1960 W., Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: accurate and properly calibrated thermometers.
An inspection took place on Sept. 23 at Jade Palace Restaurant, a restaurant located at 330 First St., Humble. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: precautions against cross-contamination of raw and cooked foods, proper labeling, storage and use of toxic items and manual or mechanical warewashing and sanitizing.
On Sept. 23, an inspection was performed at the day care center Tender Loving Care Learning Center at 716 First St., Humble. The inspector found no violations.
An inspection took place on Sept. 23 at Subway # 37739, a restaurant located at 14080 Fm 2920 Ste. G, Tomball. The inspector found violations of the following requirements: accurate and properly calibrated thermometers and cleaned and sanitized surfaces of equipment and utensils that come into contact with food.
