A 2005 graduate of Tomball High School, Wiley played college baseball at Kansas State for three seasons (2006 to 2008). He was a career .306 hitter for the Wildcats with 13 home runs and 90 RBIs in 149 college games. Wiley was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 22nd round (659th overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. Trevor C. Hurley pitched one inning, striking out two and allowing no earned runs Thursday in the Myrtle Beach Pelicans's 9-3 loss to the Kinston Indians. Hurley graduated from Tomball High School.

Hurley is a 2005 graduate of Tomball High School. He went on to play college baseball at Kansas State for three seasons (2006 to 2008) making 58 appearances on the mound for the Wildcats. He logged a career mark of 1-5 with three saves and a 5.98 ERA. Hurley was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 22nd round (663rd overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. Between 2008 ad 2010 Hurley appeared in 87 games 15 of which were starts in the Texas system going 13-6 with 18 saves and a 2.78 ERA as he advanced to advanced single-A with Bakersfield of the California League. Kyle Douglas Russell went 1 for 2 in the Chattanooga Lookouts's 12-11 loss to the Carolina Mudcats on Thursday. Russell graduated from Tomball High School.

A 2005 graduate of Tomball High School, Russell was a second-team high school all-American as a senior. He played three seasons (2006 to 2008) of college baseball at the University of Texas appearing in 175 career games for the Longhorns with a .306 batting average. Russell was drafted by St. Louis in the fourth round (142nd overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft but did not sign electing to return to Texas for his junior season. In 2008, Russell hit .296 with 19 home runs and 56 RBI, and he was named MVP of the Houston Regional of the NCAA tournament. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the third round (93th overall) of the 2008 draft, and began his professional career with Ogden of the Pioneer League (Rookie).
