A 2005 graduate of Tomball High School, Wiley played college baseball at Kansas State for three seasons (2006 to 2008). He was a career .306 hitter for the Wildcats with 13 home runs and 90 RBIs in 149 college games. Wiley was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 22nd round (659th overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. Kyle Douglas Russell went 1 for 4 with two RBIs and was walked once in the Chattanooga Lookouts's 7-4 loss at the Jackson Generals on Friday. Russell graduated from Tomball High School.

A 2005 graduate of Tomball High School, Russell was a second-team high school all-American as a senior. He played three seasons (2006 to 2008) of college baseball at the University of Texas appearing in 175 career games for the Longhorns with a .306 batting average. Russell was drafted by St. Louis in the fourth round (142nd overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft but did not sign electing to return to Texas for his junior season. In 2008, Russell hit .296 with 19 home runs and 56 RBI, and he was named MVP of the Houston Regional of the NCAA tournament. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the third round (93th overall) of the 2008 draft, and began his professional career with Ogden of the Pioneer League (Rookie). The county clerk in Montgomery County reported the following arrests on July 2:

Raymond Brian Durbin, of 1111 Lovett, Tomball, TX 77375, was arrested on alleged charges of burglary of a home.

Kendall Clark Knight was arrested on alleged charges of DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED and driving while intoxicated. Knight's address is listed as 2026 Lake Creek Drive, Humble, TX 77339.

Paula Juanette Pifer was arrested on alleged charges of SURETY TO SURR/FELONY and felony surety to surrender. Pifer's address is listed as 4018 Quiet Glade, Humble, TX 77345.

A Cypress man is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated (first time offender, blood alcohol content .08) after being arrested on July 2, 2011, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported.
