Montgomery County misdemeanors, March 27-April 2

The Montgomery County Clerk reported the following criminal misdemeanor records during the week of March 27-April 2:

Martinez Johanna Paola, 24, plead Guilty to a charge of property theft (greater than $50, less than $500), a Class B misdemeanor she was charged with on April 7. Her defense attorney is Tony Duckworth.

Paola was arrested on March 31 by Officer Marcus Teske of the OAK RIDGE NORTH P.D. on charges of *THEFT PROP>=$50AAAA Discount Bail Bonds posted a $500 bond on April 1. The bond was released on May 25.

On May 25, the case was deferred.

Paola is described as a 5-foot-2, 230 white with black hair and brown eyes. She was born on April 7, 1987, in SAN FRANCISCO, California. Her last known address is 20938 Foxwood GaRoad en Drive ive, Humble.

Joseph Edward Pitts, 31, plead Guilty to a charge of driving with an invalid license and previous conviction, a Class B misdemeanor he was charged with on April 7. His defense attorney is Jeremy Stadler Dishongh.

Pitts was arrested on March 31 by Officer Ballinger of the Harris County Precinct 4 on charges of *DRIVING W/LIC INV W/PREV CONV/SUSP/W/O FIN RES*.

E-Z Out Bail Bonds By Doug posted a $500 bond on March 31. The bond was released on Jan. 17. On Jan. 17, the case was deferred.

Pitts is described as a 5-foot-11, 165 white 1 with red hair and brown eyes. He was born on June 5, 1980, in Houston, Texas. His last known address is 18410 Polo Meadow, Humble.

Betty Cohn Colbert, 52, plead Not Guilty to a charge of poss gambling device, equip, paraph (class a misdemeanor) she was charged with on Jan. 11. Her defense attorney is Rick Brass.

Colbert was arrested on April 2 by the HCSO on charges of *POSS GAMBLING DEVICE/EQUIP/PARAPH *, *GAMBLING PROMOTION* and *KEEPING A GAMBLING PLACE *. There was one warrant for the defendant.

Lexington National Ins Co posted a $1,500 bond on April 2. The bond was released on Jan. 3. The case was dismissed on Jan. 3.

Colbert is described as a 5 5, 119 white with brown hair and brown eyes. She was born on November 16, 1959. Her last known address is 14125 Maple Ln, Humble.

Nicola S. Shelvin, 31, was charged with theft of property ($20 to $500 by check) on April 27. Her defense attorney is Dennis V Yates.

Shelvin was arrested on April 2 by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on charges of *THEFT PROP >=$20Lagway'S Bail Bonds posted a $200 bond on April 3.

Curtis Eugene Dawkins Sr., 44, plead Guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana (less than two ounces), a Class B misdemeanor he was charged with on April 7. His defense attorney is Anthony Simmons.

Dawkins was arrested on March 31 by Officer Sprague S of the Harris County Precinct 3 on charges of *POSS MARIJ Daisy Bail Bond posted a $500 bond on April 1. The bond was released on Aug. 22.
